However, now I think thats not true. I have to improve my listening skill as i believe it will turn people off if i continue, else it is indirectly telling people that i do not care and that would definitely be one of the root causes of a low morale and low-trust environment that always happen. Visionary leaders should listen, as, all human beings have the internal hunger to be understood by others. By listening to others, it shows that you value and believe your followers.
Quick Fact:
Human beings possess the ability to listen at a rate of 500 words per minute, yet we speak at a much slower rate of 100 to 125 words per minute. With all that spce to fill, out minds tends to wander.
An unknown weakness can never be transformed into strength.
Note to self: Listen with the intent to listen, and not listen with the intent to respond.
